Obituary of Mark Bewsh

~~BEWSH: Mark Alexander (co -owner MicroAge Peterborough) 1962-2017
On Sunday, July 9th, 2017, Mark passed away peacefully with family by his side at PRHC Palliative Care. Mark will be loved and remembered by his family, including his wife Amy Simpson, his brothers Michael Bewsh (Andrea) and Daniel Bewsh (Tena) along with his nieces and nephews Victor, Alexander, Emily, and Andrew. He will be missed by Amy’s entire family (The Simpson Clan) especially her nieces and nephews Jenna, Carly, Mike, Cam, and Meli. Mark grew up and lived in Toronto before moving to Peterborough in 2003. Mark spent much of his relax time and summers at what he called his Happy Place, the family cottage in the Kawartha’s, this is also where Mark met his wife and BFF Amy (a.k.a  Boo) when he was 18.
Mark was an exceptional cook and a lover of travel, and enjoyed music of all kinds, both creating and listening.  Mark was very well versed on many topics and seemed to have a photographic memory. He was especially interested in sports, including his home town Raptors and Blue Jays. He was very educated and immersed in many political and economic topics globally. For those who had the pleasure of meeting Mark, they would know he was a sweet soul and a true gentleman, who treated all he knew with respect, kindness, and dignity. Mark’s spirit will carry on in the lifelong memories he has given us, including the fun and crazy times we were blessed to have had with him, memories that we will all cherish forever.
Mark is now reunited with his Mother Catherine, his Father Victor along with his Step Father Andrew. We are sure there will be some good times.
The family attended a Ukrainian Orthodox blessing prior to Cremation and a Remembrance Gathering will be held at ASHBURNHAM FUNERAL HOME & RECEPTION CENTRE, 840 Armour Road, Peterborough, on Saturday, July 22nd 2017 from 2-4 pm. Words of Remembrance at 3 p.m.  Our thanks to Dr. Kahan ( Toronto ), Dr. Whiting, Dr. Matheson, and the Team at PRHC Palliative Care Unit D2 for their support and kindness in the final chapter of Mark’s life story.  Donations may be made to PRHC or Peterborough Humane Society.
