Tuesday, January 16, 2018I Know that I speak on my mother's behalf, when I say that Aunt Ethel was a wonderful person, to us, to all her kids, and to her husband Bill. Years ago, when we would visit Peterborough, we would always stop in to see auntie Ethel to get caught up on family goings-on, and that was a great way for me to be involved in our rather extensive family. Her "youth" and vitality was always an inspiration for us, right up to the point where she was driving seniors, years younger than her, to their doctor's appointments. I got a kick out of Fred's comment that she didn't really have memory issues until she was well into her 100's...how wonderful! I am sorry that we will miss Ethel's memorial service, in that I'll be in another country, but believe me, We will be thinking of you all, and smiling at the stories that are told, and taking just a little pride that we knew such a wonderful lady. God bless you all Peter

Thursday, January 4, 2018Dear Norma & Family: Heartfelt sympathy to you as you say farewell to a wonderful lady. She was a treasure for sure, gracious, gentle & smiling whenever we met. I first met her on Prince St. many years ago as she lived across the street from my Mom. Norma, I’m sorry I cannot be there to support you as we are out of the country. Do know prayers are with you. The longer you have someone, it’s harder to say goodbye. There is another star in the sky, shining brightly for you, your very own angel. Thinking of you, Ruthie & Carl
