BRICK, Malcolm Gregory "Mac" – He was given the gift of life on January 7, 1933 and on January 28, 2018, he gave it back. We say farewell to Malcolm of Peterborough, formerly of Windsor and many places in between. He was in his 86th year. Mac was the son of the late Dr. Michael George Brick and Mary (nee Carmichael). Dear brother of Elizabeth Daly, Kathryn Patterson (late Harry), Jolayne Farrell (Dan) and the late Col. John Brick (surviving wife Jo), Mary Panabaker (late Cmdr. Jack), Capt. Paul Brick (late Daphne) and Frank Brick (late Dorothy). He was a beloved uncle of 21 nieces and nephews, 28 great nieces and nephews and 9 great great nieces and nephews. An educator and mentor; Mac began his teaching career in a one-room school house in Downeyville, later teaching in The Hague, Netherlands, and retiring from St. Peter's High School, Peterborough. He was an incredible networker who kept us all in touch: family, friends, students, and colleagues. Mac was a wonderful story teller and enthusiastic world traveler. A Memorial Mass will be held at St Martin of Tours Catholic Church, 513 Ennis Road, Ennismore, on Saturday, February 3, 2018 at 11 am. Reception at St. Martins's reception hall to follow. Special thanks to Ed Leahy, a great friend, for his exceptional care and kindness. Mac worked hard to keep us connected. Let's honour him and keep that tradition alive. Condolences may be made at
